cold and icy conditions with snow on the trails, main feature was the very strong winds, which if you know deglla you'll know the moor climb/crossing is very exposed and always into the wind..for once the wind was behind us and it cut you to the bone with the wind chill.

but once we were over that and the first exposed somme route, the trail rode well, few puddles which despite my best efforts i got a soaked and ultimately cold left foot, went round full black trail in two hrs with a few stops to warm the ears..

i was on a demo specialized stumpjumper carbon, and with the lite weight and superb Fox suspension i was hitting things faster than ever, doubling jumps and landing on the down sides of the table tops..

great days riding foinsihed of with hot choc and the biggest bestest carrot cake going..

Was that impressed with the bike i ordered one on return to the loan shop...brothertons in old hill..

collect new toy Sat..top day
